Botanical Illustration With Jenny

Botanical Illustration is a genre of art that endeavours to faithfully depict and represent the form, colour, character and detail of a plant, identifiable to species. During this 5 week course we'll dive into the techniques and skills that are required to create a successful botanical illustration. Using a multi-media technique, Jenny will guide the class in understanding layering paint and coloured pencil to create a realistic image. This class will be specifically focused on local summer blooms. Each student will receive a botanical illustration kit on the first day of class. The cost of which is included in the price of the class.
